Google ELS (Enhanced Location Services) Data can be queried by phone number and will always be associated with a live 911 call.

Use Case

Google ELS is an API for receiving location information from Google devices for consumption by 911 call takers in handling emergencies. Google includes additional data in location payloads, where available. This information can include device languages, and car crash time (following the crash detection incident) made available by an Andriod phone crash detection sensor. When a query for Google ELS data is made by phone number, the call taker should be presented with the list of returned Google ELS records, which can then be shown to the call taker.

Google Data

Google data returned under the google key.

Most payloads from ELS-equipped devices will have the device_languages field set. Device languages are listed in order from highest priority to lowest.

The adr_carcrash_time car crash time stamp is provided in units of ms (Unix time) following the crash detection incident. For example: 1438101600123. Car crash data will be included in payloads sent up to 10 minutes after the crash event was detected.

If no data is returned by the request, there will be no data returned in the payload.
