It may include, but is not limited to, name, email address, postal or other physical address, credit or debit card number, title, and other information linked to a persistent identifier assigned or linkable to an individual.

HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

Emergency-Related Personal Information

RapidSOS collects personal information to enhance emergency-related and emergency-preparedness-related communications between Emergency Service Providers and members of the public. (By Emergency Service Providers, we mean safety or emergency response providers like 911 providers and campus safety officials.) We collect certain information in connection with offering our Services, which we call information “Emergency-Related Personal Information.”

We collect Emergency-Related Personal Information from several sources, including directly from Emergency Service Providers, from Computer-Aided Dispatch System providers, and from other organizations that work with or assist Emergency Service Providers.

We also collect Emergency-Related Personal Information from certain cell phones and other devices (“Connected Devices”). RapidSOS provides its Services to application, platform, operating system, and software developers (our “Partners”) who build RapidSOS functionality into their applications, platforms, operating systems, or software (“Partner Software”) in order to better help device users connect with Emergency Service Providers in an emergency. “Connected Devices” are those on Partner Software is installed and functioning. If you call 911 or place another emergency communication from a Connected Device, RapidSOS will attempt to automatically transmit information from your device that may assist the Emergency Service Provider in directing appropriate and timely assistance to you. This process will involve the collection and temporary retention of Emergency-Related Personal Information.

RapidSOS collects Emergency-Related Personal Information from a Connected Device only when that device is used to contact an Emergency Services Provider. We provide the Service to our Partners pursuant to agreements strictly controlling our collection and use of Emergency-Related Personal Information.
