Brave
Brave BeSafe is a safety solution application that provides a hotline-like support system for drug users on a voluntary basis. Brave Data can be queried by phone number and will always be associated with a live 911 call.
Use Case
When a query for Brave data is made by phone number (tel://{phone_number}), the call taker will be provided with location and additional emergency related data.
Use Case Details
When the person is going to use this, they initiate a session with a Brave supporter that is available if there is a potential overdose situation occurring. If a Brave Supporter confirms suspicion of an overdose, they trigger an alert in the Brave system that will route the Supporter and User to call 9-1-1 on the user’s behalf, they will send an API call to RapidSOS, and RapidSOS will call them with IVR to bridge them together with the corresponding PSAP to the PIC’s location in addition to the data provided in the API call to RapidSOS.
